This palette is a breath of fresh air! The shade selection is completely different to any releases that I have seen since the Modern Renaissance. MR is a my holy grail palette. I don't think any palette can ever beat that one for me. So when Norvina posted a sister palette is releasing, I jumped. When you have the best already, you expect this will top that, does it?
Firstly the packaging is like the MR palette, velvet suede. That drives me insane when it gets all dirty. I wish they changed the packaging so I wouldn't have to worry about getting it dirty.. grrrrr. I mean it feels soft and lovely until its plastered with makeup dirt.
Colour selection - Weird yet grungy. I love the fact that this palette is so different, perfect for smoky, sultry looks. That perfect not perfect eye look.
Blending - My first point is, blend with the lightest hand possible. If you're heavy handed I would stay away from this palette because the pigmentation is so strong it can get messy, super messy and muddy! I personally have a light hand and they blend well for me. There are some shades that take an extra effort to blend.
Overall I personally love the palette. I don't think its for everyone though, if you like shadows to blend effortlessly then I doubt you will like this palette. I do suggest you try in store or if a friend has it, test it first. I don't believe its bad as some people are making it out to be, but then again we all have our own fandas (opinions). Does this top my MR palette? Not for me, I don't think anything will. Have you got this? What are your thoughts?
Until next time love to you all :)
